When buying train tickets, please add an insurance policy to the order to feel reassured during the trip.
How to use the service?
When booking train tickets, choose accident insurance in "Additional services" block.
The cost of policy will be added to the total amount of order.
You will receive an e-mail with train tickets and accident insurance agreement after payment. They also will be available in "My account" section after authorisation on the site.
Terms of passenger accident insurance policy
Insured event is an incident which results in:
- bodily injury (BI);
- establishing the disability of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd groups;
- death.
Insurance policy is valid within the Republic of Kazakhstan on the territory of departure and arrival stations, as well as in passenger carriage specified in the train ticket.
The insurance policy is effective throughout the whole train journey (beginning from midnight on passenger's departure date) and 3 days after the arrival at the station specified in the ticket.
Amount of the insurance payout
Insurance company pays a part of the insurance coverage in case of insured accident (KZT
200 000):
- fracture, сlosed head injury, dislocation – 10%;
- bite of poisonous insects or animals – 5%;
- shock (traumatic, hypovolemic, developed as a result of acute blood loss, anaphylactic) – 5%;
- burn – 7%;
- frostbite – 5%;
- establishing the 1rd group of disability – 100%;
- establishing the 2rd group of disability – 70%;
- establishing the 3nd group of disability – 30%;
- death – 100%.
Actions in the event of an accident
- Contact insurance company via phone numbers provided in the insurance policy.
- Give your policy number, first, and last name.
- Describe the situation to the operator.
It is necessary to have such documents to receive the insurance payout:
- insurance policy (original and copy);
- ID document (copy);
- train ticket;
- accident certificate drawn up by the carrier or documents issued by the investigating (or other) authorities;
- medical document with the doctor signature and the seal of treatment and prevention institution confirming the provided medical assistance and (or) containing the description of bodily injury;
- originals or notarized copies of documents confirming the right to receive insurance payout.
Insurance company may also require additional documents or medical examination.
